Okay, this is quite possibly the best thing I ever saw in my life.

Another hard to find pose! How do you do it ;;? He looks perfectly shameless and relaxed, like a happy anteater should be. :'D

Well, I think I'm able to see them in such poses is because I watch them for a long time.
Most people just have glimpse of them an move on.
I watch them for hours.

Do they have to be kept indoors often in Germany? I know cold weather does not agree with them, and it looks like an indoor enclosure. Is it inside?

And if a zoo near me had some nosefaces I'd try and do the same!

All Zoos where I've been had indoor and outdoor enclosures for the anteaters. They can decide where they want to be. The passage to the outside enclosure has rubber flaps so the indoor enclosure in not getting too cold. [link]
And I saw them quite often outdoors, even in winter. They only sleep indoors. But if the outdoor enclosure has a pond where the anteaters can take a bath, the water is drained in winter. To avoid that they get wet in winter and drop their body temperature too much.

I have always found the shape of an Anteater's head to be kind of...weird and creepy.

I don't think that they are creepy. I think that they are awesome.

That's understandable.

To me, the way his head just extends outward gives me the feeling that he's going to bite my nose off or something. :O
